Cinephile’s Bucket List Series was conceived and executed by Dr. Alan Winson — a professor in film studies at John Jay College–CUNY. He has written on New Wave British Working Class Social Realist films of the late 1950s and 1960s.
Before becoming a teacher, Alan worked as an actor and a documentary film director. Alan also produces two podcast shows — Bar Crawl Radio and Hunkered Down in which he talks with film and stage actors about their tribulations during the COVID19 pandemic.
